Large Pair of 19th Century English Terracotta Garden Pedestals

About the Item

A commanding rare pair of large 19th century terracotta pedestals accompanied by a pair of Andrew Handyside Campana urns. The square section pedestals have moldings to each side over a sailing substantial stepped base. Adorned with later stone square tops. Remnants of old paint with age related wear to both pedestals but both strong and robust and ready to serve for another 150 years. Price is for the pair of pedestals only, the urns and castor wheels are for display purposes only. The Andrew Handyside Urns model ‘number 1 small urn’, make the perfect pairing with the terracotta pedestals. The Andrew Handyside Urns are available as a pair without the pedestals and can be located on reference 1609. Please inquire directly at Pointers Antiques. English, circa 1880.
