About the Item

An elegant and most decorative pair of French 19th century Neo-Classical st. Mahogany, Ormolu and Vert Campan marble pedestal tables. These two tiered stunning single drawer tables are raised by circular Mahogany bases with an Ormolu band along the edge. Above each base are the Ormolu Ram's hoof sabots at the base of the tapered and fluted square Mahogany legs. The midsection of these tables have the two separated circular tiers that connect the three legs. Each tier is designed with reeded Ormolu band surrounding their edge. Above the three legs are the single Mahogany drawers with circular Ormolu pulls. Surrounding the upper section are three Ormolu Ram's heads connected by swaging floral Ormolu garlands and flowing fabrics in the wind. The top displays the circular Vert Campan marble which is fitted inside a reeded Ormolu gallery.
