About the Item
A striking and impressive pair of Italian 19th century Louis XVI st. Rouge de Languedoc marble pedestal columns. Each column is raised by a square base with a fine mottled border. Above is the elegant lightly tapered column each with three carved flutes which are decorated by ormolu foliate chandelles. Above is a bull nose shaped band all below the top shelf with a mottled border.
