True Pair of Italian 18th Century Venetian St. Ebonized Fruitwood Stands
About the Item
A beautiful and extremely decorative true pair of Italian 18th century Venetian st. ebonized Fruitwood candle/plant stands. Each striking stand depicts a charming young gondolier standing on a circular base with a fine mottled border. Each gondolier is dressed in wonderfully executed period attire with boots and a flask at his side and holding a net like pouch wearing a charming hat and holding the circular mottled stand above their head. Wonderful proportions and attention to detail throughout.
