Vintage French Mahogany Ormolou Inlaid Ornamental Louis XVI Pedestal Columns
About the Item
An incredible pair of very large vintage French Louis XVI style highly ornamental pedestal columns.
The pedestal columns are made of beautiful mahogany wood. They're incredibly elegant and adorned with elegant gold gilt ornamental metal leafs in front as well as large round metal carved medallions on both sides.
The top has an inlaid design as well as the bottom trim. All around the columns are black accented trim and inlay. They're truly spectacular and make a grand statement in just about any room. they have a royal, stately elegance about them. They're extremely heavy and beautiful pieces of art. On their own they make a grand statement flanking either side of a room and they would be equally as wonderful with a pair of antique busts or massive antique urns.
