About the Item

Anduze Pot in Cream Yellow, France, Mid 20th century. This well sized Anduze pot has a warm cream yellow color and a glazed surface, showing a rich high gloss. The proportions of this original piece are well chosen, it has a firm yet elegant appearance. With its tapered base, thick edge and the modest floral decoration, it shows true craftsmanship. Originally these Anduze pots were used for planting lemon and orange trees, mainly in the warm South of France. This particular piece is in a very good condition and has aged nicely. It can be used both indoors or outdoors for your favorite plant, as well as a luxurious object to complement your interior. A piece with a lot of Mediterranean charm and style.
