About the Item

Presenting a rare find: an antique olive colored Castelnaudary French terracotta planter adorned with a rare snake motif. This uniquely versatile piece features three handles and has acquired a graceful patina over time. Originating from the South of France in the 1800s, these pots were originally utilized for planting citrus trees, then conveniently moved indoors during the chilly French winters thanks to their sturdy handles. While showcasing its rich history, it's important to note that there is some visible damage to the terracotta on the body, which is clearly depicted in the accompanying photographs.
