A striking and most decorative French early 19th century 1st Empire period Mahogany planter. The planter is raised by an exceptional bottom tier with a most elegant concave front, back, and stunning interlocking curved supports at each side with richly carved rams heads. The elongated octagonal top displays a beautiful double mottled design centering the fitted removable insert.
