A fine Italian 19th century carved Carrara marble and wrought iron wishing well head (It may also be used as a planter). The white marble cylinder surmounted with a parcel-gilt wrought iron and toleware arched frame decorated with flower heads, the foliate decorated frieze interspaced by rams heads above slight projecting foliate stiles and set with four portrait medallions depicting Roman emperors, on a stiff leaf decorated base and circular plinth, circa 1880.

Diameter 36 1/2 inches (92.7 cm).
