Spanish Mid-Century Pair Whimsical Planters on Pedestals w/Old Paint Remnants

About the Item

A Spanish near-pair of cast-stone planters, with their original paint, from the mid-20th century. These playful garden planters from Spain have square-shape bodies which are raised on cylindrical pedestals, and supported on a round platform base. These planters retain remnants of their original painted blue and yellow color, with weathered cast-stone showing, a wonderful patina from use and age, and lots of little mossy bits as well! Note that this is a near-pair with slightly different sizes. And the smaller planter measures 11" square by 19" tall. Some small cracks and losses are evident, but in our opinion, do not detract from their function and charm. These mid-century Spanish planters would be a wonderful way to introduce some whimsically sculptural elements to your patio or garden. Just add flowers!
