Two large and impressive entry gate lion statues. This beautiful pair of left and right facing lions are made of cast bronze featuring heavy verdigris patina. Their life like patina makes for a grand addition to any setting. Suitable for Indoor or Outdoor/Garden Use
Throughout history, the Lion or Foo Dog (fu dogs) has stood guard, with mystic powers to protect, in front of temples, imperial palaces, government offices, and homes of wealthy or high ranking members of society.
Procured from a historic 1922 waterfront estate in Orcas Islands, Washington. Known for a Hollywood history, once home to Theda Bara and Silent Film producers with John Wayne and others regularly frequenting.
