About the Item
This is an old hand carved sink with its original antique faucet, sculpted backsplash and base. It was hand carved in the mid 18th century and installed in a French countryside home.
The piece has been well preserved throughout the years and was recently reclaimed by our team. The natural stone aging process that took place throughout the years is quite apparent on this lovely architectural element, giving it such an amazing distressed texture and color undertone. Centuries of sun, soil, rain and exposure to the elements of nature have given this piece its real character.
The backsplash of this lovely antique sink includes carving all along its border. This 64 inch tall sink has been installed for centuries in an outdoor setting.
