About the Item

This vintage French jardinière has a playfully idiosyncratic appearance. It is squarish in form, loosely based on a Greek column capital. Ionic scrolling and acanthus leaf motifs are clearly visible. The basin rises above a lobed base and square pedestal foot. The cement has taken on the warm patina of age and use and shows only minor losses and chipping.
