Antique Fanlight Clear Glass Transom Window
About the Item
Antique wood frame fanlight transom window with a fan like design with raised floral elements at the intersections. The frame is painted black on one side and gray on the other. Fanlights are a specific type of transom window with a semi-circular shape and glazing bars radiating outward typically used above a door. There is mounting hardware on each side. There is a crack in the glass, visible in the pictures. This window was removed from an historical NYC building located at 417 Park Ave. before it's demolition in 2021. Designed by Emory Roth and completed in 1917, 417 Park Ave was a grand apartment house located just North of the Grand Central Terminal in Manhattan. One available. Please note, this item is located in our NYC location.
