- Condition:Repaired: We have reinforced the joints and strengthened the bottom brace and an eroded area on the upper back side of the frame. Additions or alterations made to the original: We have added two wood pieces for mounting - one attached near the back top of the frame, and another to be attached to a wall. We also shored up an area of weakened wood on the upper back. Wear consistent with age and use. The frame is structurally strong and fully stable. The wood shows signs of some checking and erosion; as well as of ancient insect damage -- all of these issues have been addressed, the wood stabilized, and any bugs long since eliminated.
