About the Item

An unrestored large ecclesiastical Scottish stained glass roundel depicting the burning bush. It is handpainted around the perimeter with ‘nec tamen consumebatur’, Latin for ‘yet it was not consumed’; a phrase and symbol famously associated with the Church of Scotland. Perhaps reclaimed from a Scottish church, this reclaimed stained glass window will make a striking feature window in any space, the details and colours brought to life by natural light.
