Set of 4 Vintage 1992 Post Modern Geometric Layered Foam CanettiTelephones.
New old stock in original box.
Incredible complete set of FOUR 1992 PostModern Canetti Telephone Collection in their Original Boxes, with Price tags, never used.
The phones were removed from thier original boxes and connected to the colored the curly phone cord packaged originally with each design, for the first time, to take these photos.
In pristine condition
Great geometric mouth and ear pieces. They are made of layers of alternating colored foam as seen in the pictures.
Canetti, renown for his Memphis clock collection, commissioned this limited edition collection for Recyco in 1992 only
Each phone has a tag on the back plate with the date 11/92. They original price tag back then, was an outstanding $40 each!
The boxes have 2 compartments. One for the phone, and the bottom for the cord.
Made of a thin acrylic plastic, the boxes show some wear, dents, which is better than l faired since 1992!
Obviously, these are landlines, so l am unable to test their functionality.
They are really an amazing Memphis era collectable known as the soft phone.
The foam construction picks up fingerprints and dirt so only handle with freshly washed hands and place in a glass cabinet for display.
