English 19th Century Harvest Basket

About the Item

A charming English harvest basket from the later part of the 19th century, circa 1890. This sturdy basket was made to stand the test of time. Originally used to collect fruits, vegetables and other crops, today it would make a delightful laundry basket or clothes hamper. It is a beautiful decorative item all by itself. It has robust woven handles for easy carrying and rests upon wooden slats that will keep its contents away from any ground moisture.
