French Bottles with Flower Cork Stoppers in a Wire Basket Holder, circa 1950s

About the Item

Lovely set of three French storage bottles with metal flower and cork stoppers, contained in an intricate metal wire basket holder. The flowers and basket are painted in mushroom brown with lighter coloured flecks. The bottles are made from old glass with a wonderful undulating effect, and the cork stoppers work well. There is some rust to the flowers and basket and a few white areas to the flowers. The basket has two places underneath where the solder at the edge has broken, we have left as is, this does not affect the use of the basket. Measuring length 20.5cm / 8.07 inches by height to the top of the bottles approximately 15.5cm / 6.1 inches, and depth approximately 7.5cm / 2.9 inches. The flowers are approximately diameter 4.3cm / 1.69 inches. We have not cleaned the bottles inside, they smell wonderful. This is a fabulous set of French bottles with lovely flower stoppers in a beautiful wire basket, circa 1950s.
