About the Item
Mid century teak bin by Einer Barnes for P.S Heggen circa 1963.
We are pleased to offer this increasingly rare Norwegian design classic.
Designed by Einer Barnes using inspiration from his missionary work in china and produced by P.S Heggen. This bin was imported into the uk in the early 1960's and still bares the original retail price of £3 17 shilling and sixpence written in pencil on the bottom, along with the P.S Heggen stamp.
Presented in very good condition, with original patina and a few very minor losses to woodwork and surface marks. The ultimate of all mid century bins.
