Modern Einar Barnes for P.S. Heggen Teak Wastepaper Basket
Scandinavian Modern Einar Barnes for P.S. Heggen teak wastepaper basket A fine example of sculpted teak waste paper basket designed by Einar Barnes and manufactured by P. S. Heggen in an oval shape with loops at both ends supported by tapering columns, with beautiful warm untouched patina. In well cared for vintage condition. The lovely ovoid shape is made of bent ply teak sides with solid oak sculptural end pieces that extend into two handles - the much rarer version of this piece. Exquisite construction with the joinery visible from the bottom.
Branded on the inside bottom with the makers mark, and in truly excellent condition.
