Vintage 1940s Industrial Woven Steel Factory Baskets on Legs
About the Item
These 1940s era metal baskets came out of an Illinois state penitentiary manufacturing facility. Baskets feature a 8.5 inch deep woven steel receptacle atop four angle-iron legs finished in a dark, army green paint. Baskets have been given a fresh coat of semi-gloss finish to preserve the beautifully worn patina and prevent future corrosion. These would make great blanket baskets, magazine racks or end tables (just add a piece of glass). With their great size and versatility, these baskets would fit into any vintage/industrial decorated room!
