The present vase is originally created by Josef Hoffman, the most famous designer of the Wiener Werkstatte. In the 1980s, the Italian design editor Bieffeplast decided to revive some design pieces by Josef Hoffman. This Metal basket is an example of this post modernist revival. Hoffman was so modern in his approach that a hundred years later, his design is still very modern.
