About the Item

Small antique rustic primitive Folk art wooden bowl with handle manufactured in Jämtland in Sweden. In Swedish called "Kåsa" It has been used as a drinking wessel.The bowl has an unusual organic shape. Manufactured around 1700-1750. Old crack occour. Manufactured from birch burl, a very hard and dense material which makes for good quality objects. Good antique condition with minor historic knocks, marks, scratchers, wear, as is to be expected with functional antiques.
