1930s French Art Deco Alabaster Centrepiece
About the Item
A beautiful and minimal 1930s French Art Deco alabaster centrepiece, consisting of carved alabaster forming a pedestal bowl. Raised reeding is stacked, ringing the top of the bowl and matching the round plinth base. A spherical pedestal holds up the rounded body of the bowl with a single reeded band between them. Graceful, simple ornamentation that allows the slight translucence and veining of the alabaster to gleam.
