19th Century French Centrepiece

About the Item

An elegant 19th century Paris porcelain centrepiece, the hand-decorated bowl resting on four gilded dolphin heads with curled tails. The rococo shaped rim is adorned with gilded swan heads and armorial swags. The inside of the centrepiece is loosely decorated with bouquets of roses and various flowers, Paris, circa 1860.
