About

This quality grain measure or container was produced in England in the 19th century, circa 1840. The oak bentwood has the most exceptional warm coloration and natural patina as does the hand forged iron work detailing. The impressed crown initialled ‘V R’ is the mark of Victoria Regina, Queen Victoria. The measure has the perfect rustic English country house or farm house look; it is a decorative versatile item that will display excellently in any setting.

Measuring: Diameter 6.25 inch (16 cm)., height 6 inch (15 cm).

Condition: The item is in good, used condition with signs of old, treated holes. Please note the items shown in the last three images are each sold separately.
