About the Item
Produced and signed by Cantagalli of Italy. 12" x 5.5" x 3.5" tall. This is unusual for the company because they were very traditional, however during the 50s and 60s they did produce some modernist pieces, and they likely were imported into the USA by Raymor and/or Rosenthal Netter for the American market. This is one of 2 catch-alls we have, they are triangular in shape, abstract and are heavily textured with dimples and folds giving them a tactile appeal, depicted with a woman bathing in the tray.
