Decorative faience bowl by Stig Lindberg, Sweden, circa 1950. In a shape of a leaf the bowl is produced by Gustavsbergs factory. An artistic jack-of-all-trades, Stig Lindberg was accomplished in Industrial Design, textile design, painting, illustration, glassblowing and ceramics. His whimsical postwar studio ceramics produced by Gustavsberg pottery factory in Sweden, were imbued with humor and originality. Featured in museum collections around the world, they remain highly collectible.
