A number of 31 bowls of identical shape, made in limited edition by fine Italian artisans in 31 different materials: Diogenèa - A tale of bowls is a reflection on the archetypal forms related to food, and a tribute to the essence of an object the bowl that can be said a model to compare multiple changes of materials and different processes, if applied to an identical mold (from marble to crochet, from marsh grass to charred wood, from gold-leaf to terracotta from Impruneta). Each one of these materials carries a tale of technology, territories, handycraft traditions and precious matter. ABOUT ZPSTUDIO is an architecture and design firm that emphasizes multidisciplinarity and innovation in every project. Established in Florence in 2003 by Eva Parigi and Matteo Zetti, the practice is focused on pursuing the perfect balance between tradition and avant-garde. Taking advantage of a year-lasting experience, spanning between different areas (retail, interior and product design) the work of ZPSTUDIO has earned its reputation by delivering the most accurate consultancy to its customers, providing them with an extensive and integrated vision of their needs.
