Danish Art Deco Axel Salto style bowl from the ceramic workshop Michael Andersen & Søn (MA&S). Designed and made ca. 1930s to 1950s.
The outside with its budding design covered with satin black glaze is contrasted by a smooth inside with glossy turquoise glaze.
The bowl is marked on bottom with the Michael Andersen & Søn back stamp and the model number 5085.
