A magnificent work by 20th century master wood-turner/artist Ed Moulthrop who is recognized as the father of modern woodturning, and credited with moving woodturning from a simple craft to an art form. The tulipwood bowl is signed and stamped/sealed by Mouthroup on the base with his traditional "M" mark. Would be a fantastic addition to ant collectors of Mouthrop's work or clearly stand out in about ant setting. A gorgeous and unique one-of-a-kind work overall.
