$2,200Asking Price

About

French 18th century copper turbot cooker pan (turbotière) with wrought iron handles and it's strainer. The T-shaped soldering points are typical of the 18th century. The main reason why this copper pan has remained so popular for a few hundred years is that it works so well at evenly spreading the heat so your fish cooks properly. Finding a turbot cooker with its own strainer is rare and makes all the difference. It beautifully aged patina has been left alone, but you could clean it if you prefer.
