About the Item

A refined silver bowl by Danish designer and metalsmith Just Andersen (1884–1943), model number 03, executed circa 1930s. Best known for his pioneering work in pewter, bronze, and the proprietary alloy Disko Metal, Andersen also created select designs in solid silver, now considered rare and highly collectible. This piece exemplifies his modernist approach to form and material — a perfectly balanced, sculptural bowl with a smooth reflective surface and subtle curvature.
