About the Item

A beautiful, generously sized bowl—perfect as a fruit basket on a large table. The piece is in excellent condition, with only minor surface scratches. While I haven’t found a signature, there is little doubt that this is a design by Francesca Mascitti-Lindh, given its style and craftsmanship. Francesca Mascitti-Lindh was a visionary ceramic artist whose work blends timeless elegance with Scandinavian modernism. Best known for her creations at Arabia during the mid-20th century, her hand-thrown stoneware pieces are celebrated for their organic forms and richly layered glazes. Earthy greens, deep blues, and soft neutrals flow seamlessly across her surfaces, giving each vessel a sense of quiet movement and depth. With an intuitive feel for both shape and texture, Mascitti-Lindh transformed everyday ceramics into soulful, sculptural art. Her work continues to captivate collectors and design lovers alike—an inspiring fusion of craftsmanship, beauty, and Nordic sensibility.
