Large patinated Chinese Sang de Boeuf with Flambe glazed bowl, signed, early 20th century. A heavy, thick-bodied earthenware bowl with great color likely used for utilitarian purposes such as a brush washer or planter. A wonderful statement piece, primitive in style with a nicely aged, rustic patina. Very attractive and bold with lots of character enhanced by its simplicity. Beautiful and useful anywhere. It is hand signed on the bottom.
