A Japanese red & black lacquer wooden bowl from the early 20th century. It is carved from a block of what is likely to be fruit wood. The bowl has aged beautifully over the years with small cracks and fading of the original lacquer. The bowl is relatively large - Dimensions: Height 10cm x Diameter 38cm.
