About the Item

A large carved wood bowl in a rich brown. This dish will be a great addition to a breakfast table for fruit or a coffee table for holding miscellaneous items like remotes or other small pieces that need a home. This vessel has a "draped" or "handkerchief" feel with scalloped edges and long draped corners. The wood is quite light and has fabulous veining. It does have some water marks and dry spots from age, but a good wood oil would cure that. (We love the way it is, we think it gives it character!) We are unsure of what type of wood it is, but it could possibly be from Southeast Asia, as were most of the pieces that we found at this estate. Dimensions: 11" Wide 12" Deep 4.5" Tall
