Large Victorian Cut Crystal Jug & Bowl Set England, circa 1870–1900 A fine and impressive large-scale Victorian cut crystal jug and matching bowl. Both pieces are beautifully hand-cut with bold cross-cut diamond decoration and star-cut bases, typical of fine English crystal of the late 19th century. The jug is of generous size, with a broad rounded body, shaped pouring lip and substantial loop handle, offering both elegance and presence. The matching bowl, also of exceptional scale, is deeply cut and finely balanced — suitable for display, serving punch, or as a grand centrepiece. This is an unusually large and decorative example of period English hand-cut crystal, with very good weight and clarity, showing the craftsmanship of the Victorian era. Such large sets were often intended for formal parlours or as part of elaborate washstand services. Condition: good overall, wear consistent with age and use. No cracks, chips or repairs noted; light surface marks and minor wear to the bases as expected for antique glass of this period.
