About the Item

Product description: This is a beautiful flared bowl with sea-like patina by Otto Zeegers. Otto and his wife Margreet made ceramics sinds 1972, Otto was responsible for the form, the patina was created by Margreet. The patina is created in several layers which gives the glazing a complex look. Every item has been handmade, turned on the table by Otto and afterwards going through several glazing phases by Margreet. The patina looks a little pointillistic on close observation. Dry flowers make a perfect companion to this piece as they will contrast the bright blue color of the bowl. Product condition: The bowl is in perfect condition without any defects.
