About the Item

This boldly scaled and carefully achieved Mid-Century Modernist Sterling Plated Footed Bowl W/ Greek Key Detailing signed Sheffield originates from England during the latter half of the 20th Century. This piece features an elegant curving silhouette with a footed base which tapers inwards to a ring in the center which joins the top and bottom elements. The basin then extends horizontally and curves upwards to form the top, with rings of greek key detailing circumscribing the lip and bottom edge. Marked Sheffield Sterling Plate 508 on the undersurface denoting the maker. This striking piece will style well in a wide array of spaces and settings, from Mid-Century Modernist to Contemporary and Minimal Interiors. In Excellent Vintage Condition.
