Monumental Neoclassical Gilt Bronze and Cobalt Blue Glazed Porcelain Centerpiece
About the Item
Our monumental ormolu bronze centerpiece in the Louis XVI style has a stand, an impressive 33 inches tall, depicts a pair of standing putti with neoclassical foliate designs, and a circular cobalt blue-glazed porcelain charger measuring 20 inches in diameter. Apparently unsigned. One of the largest such tazza or centerpieces we have handled in our career. With five decorative gilt bronze brackets with mounting screws that hold the charger in place (not shown in our images here).
