Pauly Venice Cornucopia Footed Bowl, Murano Glass, Gold Leaf Applications, 1960s

$5,464.77

About

Enchanting large footed bowl. Foot is a cornucopia made of bright amber glass (seems gaggia) with cobalt blue applications. The horn of plenty produces lemons mande in pate the verre style with dark green leaves. Foot in light green. Bowl is in optical rigadin with gold leaf. Ruby colored with frit (mace) technique. Same tecnhique used on the foot. A great table centerpiece for a mediterranean style home. A work of art. Impossible to assign the maestro who made them. A company who had Barbini, Martinuzzi and Carlo Scarpa working for them.
