Rare Large 16th Century Grape or Cauldron in Solid Bronze

About the Item

Rare Large Grape or Cauldron in Solid Bronze, Europe, 16th Century. This is a rare and large museum quality 16th century grape or cauldron or cooking pot in solid bronze. A practical object in the 16th century, but now a very elegant antique piece to display. Very good and timeless design with the nice pointy handles and the little feet. Great patina on the bronze. A heavy and large example - would look absolutely fantastic on a cabinet, pedestal or dining table. About ORNAMENTUM ORNAMENTUM - where we find perfection in imperfection, love a good patina and are always on the lookout for wonderful and unique pieces both vintage and antique. We are based in Belgium near the Dutch border.
