About the Item
Large low bowl by Swedish ceramist Carl-Harry Stålhane for Rörstrand Sweden. It's part of the "Atelje" series and was manufactured in a limited edition. Made circa 1960s.
The bowl is made from stoneware and decorated with an irregular brown glaze with various stripe decors. It has a rustic expression.
Fully marked to the bottom by hand: Rörstrand mark with the 3 crowns, Atelje Sweden and C-HS (for Carl-Harry Stålhane)
The bowl is marked as a factory second most likely due to the partly lighter stripes in the decor. In our eyes it just adds to its character. There is also a small burning crack on bottom but it doesn't affect the stability of the piece at all.
The bowl is in a very good vintage condition
No chips, cracks, crazing or repairs.
