About the Item
Large nerikomi stoneware 'spore' bowl by Lewis Trimble, 2022. The bowl is constructed using a time consuming process called Nerikomi, usinf black and white clays and it is hand built, and then fired and finished with a stained surface and finished with an archival non yellowing commercial grade polyurethane. Bowl is made for decorative use only and is made as a table sculpture. The surface of the piece feels like it's constructed out of stone and is designed to age gracefully like an artifact.
