Studio Pottery "Spore" Bowl by Lewis Trimble

About

Hand-built pottery bowl using the time-consuming technique Japanese Nerikomi technique of building up layers of colored clay to make a pattern. The bowl is unglazed and the inside and foot of the bowl has been wet sanded smooth while the outside remains rough like sandstone. The bowl is designed to age. Bowl is for decorative use and not designed to be food safe or hold liquid.
