Mid 20th Century Turkish Kütahya Pottery Hand Painted Wall Hanging Plate with Iznik Patterns. Large hand-made decorative ceramic wall art platter hand painted in polychrome Izink pattern and numbered and signed by the artist. Colorful Hand Painted large decorative bowl after an original Iznik 16th C. Ottoman design. This plate is hand painted with an intricate design featuring lovely tulip, lily of the valley and carnation motifs in teal, red and purple lavender colors. Large Asian ceramic decorative bowl from Kutahya with an intricate piecrust shape rim. This is an intricately, hand painted plate that was made in Kutahya, Turkey. Kütahya is famous for its kiln products, such as tiles and pottery, which are glazed and multicolored. The back of the plate is signed. Great ceramic decorative Turkish ceramic Islamic Folk Art. An Islamic ceramic plate in the Iznik style, painted in vivid colors with decoration of tulips and carnations. The back of the plate is signed with the name of the artist and factory, it has a string to the back for hanging. It is marked “ Sarioglu Gini, Special handmade in Kutahya Turkey # 4". Hand made in Kutahya Turkey circa 1950. Large Size: 17" diameter x 2.5".
