Wedgewood Celestial Dragon Lustre Bowl by Daisy Makeig-Jones

About the Item

This rare and stunning bowl hand painted by Daisy Makeig Jones in the mid 1920’s retains its trademark lustre. The exterior of the bowl is a rich green with blue undertones. The interior is a pale blue with lavender and yellow. The gilt details are in good condition. It is octagonal, decorated on the exterior with gilt dragons and on the interior rim, small landscapes and stylized designs. Another dragon is in the center interior.
