White Opaline And Aqua Green Murano Art Glass Decorative Bowl
About the Item
Stunning decorative bowl in white opaline and aqua green Murano Art glass attributed to Archimede Murano. This bowl is made with layered glass featuring white and green art glass. The outside is an opaline white glass colour while the inside features an aqua green. All four sides of the rim of glass have folded edges. In overall good condition, some minor scratches present, no chips or damage. Some air bubbles may be present which is natural with handmade art glass.
This Murano art glass is attributed to Archimede Seguso. Seguso was a Murano maestro who was often revered as one of the greatest glass maestros of the 20th century. Fathering the ‘sommerso’ technique, he experimented and developed groundbreaking glass techniques during his glassmaking career.
